Special meeting addresses trust claims
(WDAY TV) - Only ten people came to a special meeting tonight to learn more about their rights after Fargo-based North Dakota Natural Beef LLC cut employee hours.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Four cattle producers from North Dakota and Minnesota have late payments after the company lost a client. Natural Beef has stopped buying beef for slaughter in New Rockford.
To get money, trust claims need to be filed within 30 days from the payment date. Bond claims, within 60 days from transaction.
“The money is the inventories and receivables that the company has on hand. We just, we are not the trustee of it, but we do the investigation to determine the amount that's owed and the amount of the assets that are available.”
