This 5-thousand dollar check is from American Family Insurance. The company paid a claim for a stolen vehicle, only to find out the car had just been impounded and wasn't damaged.

The impound then donated the car to be sold and the money was given to the Special Olympics.

“We have 194 athletes bowling this year which is about 15 thousand dollars of expense so this is going to take a huge chunk out of that so very cool.”

The Special Olympics has a 42 thousand dollar budget this year. A large portion is received by the athletes fundraising.
