Reno, Nevada feline holds the record for the longest domestic cat

Stewie is a 5-year-old Maine Coon and now holds the record for the longest domestic cat. He measures 48 1/2 inches from the tip of its tailbone to the tip of its nose.
Maine Coons are known as gentle giants. In fact the previous record holder was also a Maine Coon that was exactly 4 feet long.
