Try Transit Week kicks off in Fargo

This week is your week with MATBUS offering a week full of activities encouraging people to ride.
Try Transit Week kicked off with the unveiling of a new logo. Anyone can ride the bus for half-fare, just 60 cents all week long. You will also have a chance to win prizes and enjoy refreshments. 2 million people ride MATBUS annually.
“It's been very exciting for us. The trends are going up and people are getting on board more, not only here, but across the nation.”
Here's a schedule of the rest of Transit Week's activities:
Tuesday: Riders get a free "snappy" transit pass holder, while supplies last. Snacks served at Ground Transportation Center, downtown Fargo
Thursday: Senior citizens ride free
Friday: Free flashlights on evening routes
Saturday: Kindergarten through 12th graders ride free.
