Morton County teen charged with manslaughter

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A 16-year-old Morton County girl has been charged with manslaughter in a fatal crash in Bismarck in July.

Prosecutors tell The Bismarck Tribune that the girl was driving a car that hit a motorcycle, killing the 34-year-old rider, Cody Jacobs.

Authorities have not identified the girl or provided details about the charge. Juvenile court proceedings are not open to the public.
