Temporary community center opens in Wadena
Wadena, Minn. (WDAY TV) - You may recall, last June a tornado touched down and destroyed a significant portion of Wadena.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
One of the buildings damaged was the Community Center. The city is making due. A permanent community center is further down the road. A temporary one is in an old pet center.
Randy Jahnke/Community member: “You can’t just go around thinking hang your head cause the storm hit, every situation arises for an opportunity so I mean if it was a tornado or anything, lets make that an opportunity and lets go forward instead of going backwards at all.”
People aren't just using the building for exercise, they're using it to come together and move forward
