Humane Society working to house pets displaced by apartment fire
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The destroyed south Fargo apartment is one of the few in town to be pet friendly. The community has come together to make sure all of those pets have a place to live.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The humane society is working with other shelters in town to house the animals. About 15 to 20 pets were taken in after the fire; these pets are at Bubba Company.
The trouble now is, people looking for a new home need to find a place for pets to stay for a longer period of time.
“We've actually got people who've already been calling and leaving messages saying they'd be willing to foster the animals until they'd be able to make other arrangements. That same thing happened last year during the flood everybody is willing to help.”
The humane society is accepting donations of money or food for the animals until the owners re-locate.
