Patrol IDs ND motorcyclist killed in semi crash
HALLIDAY, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a Hazen motorcyclist killed in a crash with a semi south of Halliday.
HALLIDAY, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a Hazen motorcyclist killed in a crash with a semi south of Halliday.
The patrol on Friday identified the victim of Thursday morning's crash as 63-year-old Darrell Rathjen.
The patrol says Rathjen crashed into the back of a semi that was waiting to turn left off of State Highway 8. The patrol says he didn't realize the semi was stopped.
The driver of the semi, identified as 59-year-old Lynn Selle of Halliday, was not hurt.
