Extreme Home Makeover: World record attempt at 3 pm on Friday
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Less than 17 hours until the hope of setting a world record in south Moorhead and it all has to do with the Grommesh's non-profit, Hope Inc.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The goal is to have at least 250 wheelchair users spell out the word HOPE at Miracle Field. The attempt will be at three in the afternoon. This will hopefully help the non-profit get more people, volunteers, and donors involved with its message.
“Really what it's about is about community and all of us coming together and awareness of wheelchair users. It's not about the wheelchair, it's about the people in them and their wheelchairs don't define them and it's going to be a beautiful day."
"It's people who are in wheelchairs, their families, their friends, everyone coming together. This family is all about hope and bringing people together and that's what we hope to do tomorrow.”
