Richland County roads to be raised up(WDAY TV) - Roads battered by flooding in Richland County will soon be reconstructed and raised.
By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Flooding, pooling rainwater, and snow melt have taken their toll on the roads, along with the saturated conditions over the last decade.
The county will spend nearly 600-thousand dollars to raise 3-roads to 3-feet above the water level. Two of the roads are in Elma Township. The third is in Moran Township.
“These are very important roads for emergency services ambulance, fire trucks, and also farm the market roads and daily use for people.”
Lambrect hopes construction can start within the next 2 weeks.
