Jamestown senior is 1st 3-peat ND girls golf champ
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) — Jamestown High School senior Laura Kraft has become the first three-time state girls golf champion in North Dakota history.
The Jamestown Sun says Kraft sank a two-foot par putt on the 18th hole at Jamestown Country Club on Tuesday to fend off a late charge by Sarah Storandt of Fargo Shanley and win the title.
Kraft plans to golf for the University of Missouri next year.
