WIMBLEDON, N.D. (AP) — Two North Dakota men already jailed on other charges are now the main suspects in a rash of burglaries in the southeast North Dakota town of Wimbledon.

KOVC-AM reported that authorities have charged two men in the July 22 burglaries. An undisclosed amount of cash and several items were reported missing from a bar, a general store and a parts store.

Barnes County Sheriff Eugene Bjerke said in a statement that 23-year old Benjamin Joseph Nordick of Wahpeton and 23-year-old Cody Allen Buchanan of Spiritwood Lake will face 3 counts of burglary and theft.

Bjerke says Nordick is being held in Lino Lake, Minn., and Buchanan is in prison in Bismarck.

Fewer than 250 people live in Wimbledon.
