GF church members help paint and clean the Special Olympics facility
Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - The Special Olympics of North Dakota is getting a major facelift from a Grand Forks church.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Hope Covenant started its "City Serve" project: a mission to help the community. Almost 400 people painted and cleaned the Special Olympics facility. Organizers hope this makes a difference.
"This crew is painting and cleaning carpets. We have people visiting nursing homes and singing and a whole variety of projects."
"It's just incredible; the outpouring of support is just fantastic."
Church members intend to keep doing these projects each year.
