MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A former teacher at Turtle Mountain Community College faces up to five years in prison for stealing laptop computers from the school.

A release from the U.S. Attorney's Office says 47-year-old Martin Henry, of Rolla, pleaded guilty Friday to a charge of larceny.

Authorities say Henry stole 17 laptops and computer repair kits while working in the college's technology department. The thefts allegedly occurred between February and July 2009. Prosecutors say the equipment was sold or pawned at various shops.

Henry's sentencing in U.S. District Court in Minot is scheduled for Dec. 29.
