Mahnomen exceeding all expectations with undefeated start
Mahnomen, Minn. (WDAY Sports) - It's been a season to remember for the Mahnomen football team with huge wins over Hawley and 2nd ranked Fosston thus far.By: Dom Izzo, WDAY
John Clark Junior's team is 4-0 and ranked 4th in the state in class A. And with 15 starters back from last year, they knew they'd be pretty salty.
“We were expecting big things, kind of got dominated couple games last year, interesting to see how much we've improved over the year. It has been one of those years to get some confidence.”
“Been pretty good, everyone's looking out for us. We got to look out for other people and can't think we're the best there is. We have a lot of things to work on.”
The Indians host Fertile-Beltrami Friday.
