Woman killed in head-on crash

GWINNER, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a head-on collision near Gwinner on Wednesday killed one woman and injured another.

Sargent County Sheriff Travis Paeper (PAY-per) told KOVC radio that a 37-year-old Milnor woman was killed in the crash on Highway 32 at about 7:16 a.m. Wednesday. The woman's name has not been released.

Paeper says the woman's vehicle collided head-on with a pickup driven by a 40-year-old Lisbon woman. The sheriff says she was taken to a Lisbon hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
