BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says an oil truck became engulfed in flames after running off state Highway 22 outside Mandaree on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that the truck was hauling crude Tuesday afternoon when it overturned. Troopers say the driver, 33-year-old Jeremy Swanson of Billings, Mont., was ejected from the truck.

Troopers say Swanson was taken to a hospital in Minot.

New Town-based Mann Enterprises says in a statement that Swanson suffered minor injuries. The company says about 200 barrels of crude oil spilled.
