Leal, ND (WDAY TV) - Two big decisions for Barnes County schools will be made by voters today. They'll decide whether to approve building a 14-and-a-half million dollar central pre-K through 12 location, and whether to give the school board the authority to apply for those bonds.
Students currently at North Central, Wimbledon and Spiritwood would attend the school, near Leal. The measure would not raise property taxes.
Consolidating the schools would save the district $1.7 million dollars, and the yearly bond payment is about $1.5 million.
