West Fargo Public Works starts Twitter account
West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The city of West Fargo is using technology to its benefit. This time, communicating with taxpayers.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The public works department has launched a twitter account. So far, it has just one follower and two tweets. Workers are using the site to tell the public about emergencies and late breaking news, like detours, stop light problems, or weather related announcements.
“It's going to have to help us a lot. I mean we're out in the field, we see something happening with a storm or if something is backing up or if there's some type of flood issue, we can quickly get it out to people who need to know it.”
To get updates, simply log on to Twitter, and then search W-F Public Works.
