WDAY Honor Roll

(WDAY Sports) - Wednesday night means time to set the DVR; it's the WDAY Honor Roll. Tonight we begin on the sideline of 2-and-0 Breckenridge.

For the best runs this week, we start with Shanley's Stephen Weber, who makes a great move, then about gets his helmet torn off. He perseveres and eventually finds the end zone.

Jeff Illies, from Wyndmere-Lidgerwood, breaking tackles on this dandy, powering his way for six points. How about the fancy footwork by the ref in the Concordia-Valley City State game? Nimbly avoids the would-be tackler and still gets the signal up! Impressive!

Barnesville's Colby Bratton starts our catches of the week with the one-handed snag over the middle, and then, the long run afterwards.

Speaking of one-handed catches, it doesn't get much better than Valley City's Joey Halgrimson on this bomb. Around the defender and in for the score, that's definitely worth another look.

Then there's West Fargo's Drew Lemke. The pass goes right thru the hands of the Davies defender, but Lemke is there with cat-like reflexes for the TD.

Bison Coach Craig Bohl leads our hits of the week. Watch the "wallop" he puts on Mark Farley in the pregame handshake! Apparently, he's been working out with the O-line.

This play is one of our favorites so far. The major "splashdown" in the Wahpeton-Central Cass contest. Awesome to watch, not so fun if that's you involved.
