Robert Light pleaded guilty in Clay County District Court to charges connected to a drunk-driving crash on June 11th and was sentenced to 9-months in jail.

According to the State Patrol, Light was with his 10-year-old son when he ignored a stop sign, colliding with a car heading east on Highway 10.

Prosecutors say Light's blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit for driving. Six charges, including one felony, were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
