70,000 expected for the 30th annual Big Iron Farm Expo

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Tractors are rolling in for the 30th annual Big Iron Farm Expo. The event draws 70-thousand people to the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo, including about 150 international visitors. Organizers say they're full before the event even starts.

It's going to be a packed house at this year's Big Iron. Every nook and cranny where you can fit a booth, there's a booth! In fact, it's so crowded that they've been turning away exhibitors for a few weeks!

70 new exhibitors, including one coming all the way from Australia, add to the show known for showcasing the latest in big iron farm equipment, farming technology and techniques, livestock, and everything else Ag related.

Some unique things this year: A visit from National Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack Tuesday, a special showcase of the One Pass Air Seeder Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:30, and an antique tractor and farm machinery show runs all three days. More exhibitors also means more variety.

Bryan Schulz: “We're looking at well over a thousand vendors. It's a one stop shop. You can get everything for your tractor, everything Ag related at the big iron farm show.”

Big Iron is going on tomorrow and Wednesday from 9 to 5 and Thursday from 9 to 4. Admission and parking for Big Iron is free. As always, there are special events geared toward ladies. The ladies brunch, including entertainment and style show is Wednesday at the Fargo Holiday Inn from 10 to 1.
