Fergus Falls man arrested for threatening another man with a gun

A Fergus Falls man is accused of threatening another man with a loaded gun.
69-year-old Richard Stavaas faces charges of 2nd degree assault and reckless discharge of a firearm. The incident happened at 1005 North Buse Street Saturday night.
At least eight squad cars from three agencies were on scene. Officers searched the property. They say Stavaas pointed a handgun at a 32-year old and fired some rounds into the ground in front of him.
No one was injured.
