MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Minot's Roosevelt Park Zoo is getting a new entrance.
Minot Park District Director Ron Merritt says concrete is being poured this fall and work will continue through the winter. Officials hope to have the 6,000-square-foot building done by Memorial Day next spring.
The Minot Daily News says the entrance building will have a visitors center, auditorium, gift shop, ticket counter and office and storage space. The cost of the building and landscaping is just under $2 million.
