Chicago man sentenced for stabbing in Fargo

(WDAY TV) - A Chicago man will spend 3 years behind bars after a stabbing in Fargo back in May.
28-year-old Calvin Johnston, Junior was originally charged with attempted murder, but plead guilty to a lesser charge of assault.
On May 29th, he stabbed 22-year-old Devante Johnson 14 times and Johnson ended up losing a kidney. The attack happened near Sanford Health downtown. It's not clear what started the altercation.
