ND Insurance counseling program tops in nation

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Insurance Department's State Health Insurance Counseling program is tops in the nation again.

Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm says the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ranked North Dakota's program No. 1 for the second year in a row.

The ranking is based on the program's performance in educating and protecting consumers last year.
