The Trojans ended their three decade long drought last season as Bryan Strand's squad made it to the state quarters and his team looks strong again this year, bringing back 13 starters from the 2009 squad meaning confidence is at an all time high.
“They worked in the offseason. They did extra stuff on their own and just to see they expect to win the conference and tradition, Mahnomen and Hawley have tradition, Barnesville wants tradition and that's what the kids want to maintain.”
“A Lot of starters returning, a lot of confidence for how we've been working, for the strength they're ready to use.”
The Trojans open their season tomorrow night at Lake Park-Audubon.
