The Fargo Public Library and FirstLink are joining forces to put up a display featuring resources and during Suicide Prevention Month.
FirstLink used part of a 26-thousand dollar National Suicide Prevention Lifeline grant. The blue posters in the hallway have information about warning signs, where to go if someone you know is suicidal, and books on dealing with mental illness.
Since they're starting the September 12th suicide prevention walk at the library, help officials wanted to have the posters there.
"I think there's still such a stigma with suicide that it's just a great place that the Fargo Public Library was willing to be a part of and say this is a national project to be able to know that there is a lot of suicide awareness that needs to happen."
Grant money will also be used for elderly suicide prevention programs in the metro.
