Streets Alive: Zumba dance at Oak Grove Park

Along with closing streets, there were five stations set up along the path with activities. Participants here at Oak Grove Park were doing the Zoomba dance put on by Courts Plus.

10 different fitness organizations from the metro set up booths at the park and took turns displaying different workouts. People at the event say they hope "Streets Alive" becomes a fixture here.

“Streets Alive and just any kind of activity just makes you want to keep improving yourself. I just like to be healthy. I think it makes me feel great and I feel active I feel like I can keep up with everybody.”

The cross-city event went from noon to 5.
