Water main break causes random outages in Glyndon
Glyndon, Minn. (WDAY TV) - There has been random water outages for 300 homes in Glyndon.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Construction on a sewer water line caused the water main to break. None of the breaks were anticipated, so the city was not able to notify people that it shut off the water Friday, Monday, and last night.
The risk should diminish next week when crews are no longer digging as deep to work on 8-thousand feet of sewer line.
“I heard a lot of stories, some of them funny, some of them very angry, depending on what you were doing at the time you found you no longer had water.”
Homeowners should shut off electric water heaters at the service panel when there is a water outage so it doesn't burn out.
