FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A Fargo woman says she will plead guilty in a credit card conspiracy case.
Kelima Smailagic (kah-LEE'-mah smah-LAH'-jik) is charged in federal court with 13 counts, including conspiracy to commit bank fraud, identity theft and mail theft. A change-of-plea hearing is scheduled Monday.
Authorities say the conspiracy involved about $45,000.
The fraud charge carries a sentence of up to 30 years in prison,
and a $1 million dollar fine, but prosecutors will recommend she spend 8 months in jail and pay restitution.
Prosecutors say a co-defendant in the case is out of the United States.
