Autopsy confirms ND man in boat accident drowned
BEULAH, N.D. (AP) — An autopsy has confirmed that a Hazen man who died in a boating accident on Lake Sakakawea had drowned.
State forensic examiner William Massello attributed 30-year-old Pete Jensen's death last Tuesday to an accidental drowning due to submersion in fresh water.
Jensen was in a boat with three other adults and two children, ages 6 months and 9 months, when it capsized in choppy water. Jensen was pronounced dead at a Hazen hospital.
