Bison coaches consider pulling former Wahpeton star Ryan Smith's redshirt

Former Wahpeton star running back Ryan Smith has had a terrific camp, which got even better Saturday when he returned a kick and a punt for a touchdown! Smith knows he still has some work to do.
“I’m trying to get a lot more comfortable in it. Pass protection is still getting me a little bit; coach Polascek is definitely helping me a bit so far. My goal was to help the team out as much as possible, and right now if they want to redshirt me if not, if I can help the team, I'll help the team.”
Head coach Craig Bohl said Saturday that Smith is getting a strong look at getting his redshirt pulled.
