Calif. homicide suspect arrested in Minnesota

EAGAN, Minn. (AP) — Federal authorities say a California newlywed accused of fatally shooting his wife in the eye has been arrested in Minnesota.

The Minneapolis FBI Fugitive Task Force on Thursday said it arrested 30-year-old Dejames Oree Henderson of Los Angeles.

Authorities say Henderson's wife was shot and killed in her apartment in May. Police described the violence as a domestic dispute. Henderson was charged with homicide last month and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

A spokeswoman at the Dakota County jail confirms Henderson was being held there Thursday. She didn't know whether he had an attorney.

The FBI task force says its agents spotted Henderson walking in an Eagan neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. He was arrested without incident.
