Fairmount, ND (WDAY TV) - Five kids were hurt after a crash near Fairmount last night. The North Dakota State Patrol says a 17-year-old boy was driving a pickup on a rural gravel road about 7 miles west of Fairmount when he lost control.

The driver and two 12-year-old girls were ejected from the truck and brought by ambulance to Sanford in Fargo for their injuries.

Two other passengers, children ages 7 and 9, were treated and released in Breckenridge. Troopers say the driver could be ticketed for violating conditions of his driver's permit which requires an adult to be in the vehicle.
