Former LaMoure police officer sentenced for having sex with a minor

LaMoure, ND (WDAY TV) - A former LaMoure police officer will spend the next eight years behind bars for having sex with a minor multiple times and sending her explicit pictures.
Kyle Mackey resigned just a few days before he was arrested, saying he wanted to move to a bigger city.
Once his eight years is up, he'll have to register as a sex offender and be under supervised probation for five years. He can also have no contact with the victim and her family.
