BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Bottineau man is celebrating winning $750,000 in the Mega Millions lottery game.

Joe Stevenson collected his winnings on Monday in Bismarck. His ticket matched five of the six Mega Millions numbers from last Friday's drawing. He also paid an extra dollar for the Megaplier option, which tripled his $250,000 prize.

Stevenson bought his ticket at the Farmers Union Oil service station in Bottineau. He says he'll use some of the money to fix up his house and invest in a local business.

North Dakota has had the Mega Millions lottery since Jan. 31. It's offered in 41 states. In the game's last drawing Friday, Stevenson and nine other players nationwide won the $250,000 prize, which is the game's second-largest prize below the jackpot.
