Music starts on Thursday, but campers are already piling in. Becker County authorities say they need to provide enough law enforcement for WeFest and still make sure the rest of the county has regular patrol.
“The thing about WeFest is no vacation for any of the officers, no time off, and no days off. If they're not working the regular shift they're scheduled to work the overtime shifts.”
The Becker County Sheriffs Department sets up a mobile station on the outskirts of WeFest.
