Bail set for Fargo man accused of abusing a 2-year old
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Bail is set at 5-thousand dollars for a Fargo man accused of abusing his girlfriend's 2 year old son. 25-year-old Adam Eberhardt is charged with abuse or neglect of a child, a class B felony.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY

Bail is set at 5-thousand dollars for a Fargo man accused of abusing his girlfriend's 2 year old son.
25-year-old Adam Eberhardt is charged with abuse or neglect of a child, a class B felony.
Police say he claims he was sleeping on the couch in this apartment in south Fargo. He claims he was sleeping on the couch when he was startled by something, woke up and slapped the child.
The mother brought the child to the hospital. Sanford reported it to police.
"In this case it just happened to be the age of the victim, being that he was under 6 years of age - being the victim's two and a half. That elevated the offense."
