Ulen man charged for crash caused by ethanol by-product
Casselton, ND (WDAY TV) - A dairy farmer from Ulen, Minnesota will stand trial in September for causing an accident last fall on I-94.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Charles McCarthy is charged with two felonies after an ethanol by-product spilled from his truck and caused the crash that injured 4 people. It happened last November near Casselton.
Four snowplows were needed to clean up the mess. Highway Patrol troopers followed the spill to an empty lot in West Fargo and found Mccarthy dumping the material without permission. McCarthy has pleaded not guilty.
