People with the Parks District buried the capsule at the downtown depot. It'll stay in the ground until 20-35.

Inside are things like the 2010 budget, list of Fargo's Mayor and commissioners along with the park district board members. Mayor Walaker congratulated the district on how far they've come and all of the little things done. Things like lining the streets with flowers and the upkeep it takes to do so.

“If they started pulling some of these items away because of cost or whatever I think everybody would understand the loss.”

The parks district maintains more than 21 hundred acres of parks.
