Man sentenced on weapons charge

FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A Binford man has been sentenced to more than four years in prison on a weapons charge. Matthew Bakke pleaded guilty in federal court to felon in possession of firearms. Authorities say he had a .40-caliber pistol and a .308-caliber rifle.

Bakke's record includes two felony convictions in state court.

The weapons were recovered by the Griggs County Sheriff's Department after officers responded to a call at a residence in Binford.
