Police investigating Minot shooting
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Minot police say they are investigating a shooting that appears to be accidental.
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Minot police say they are investigating a shooting that appears to be accidental.
Authorities say 26-year-old Mark Thompson was shot in the upper portion of his leg early Thursday morning by a 20-year-old man.
Lt. John Klug says police were notified hospital emergency room staff about the shooting. Authorities say Thompson is in stable condition.
Klug says officers went to Thompson's apartment and seized the handgun, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Police say the investigation is continuing.
