He was the opening day left fielder for the Hawks, but over the past couple of weeks has took his talents to the bullpen.
Patton has appeared in five games and racked up three saves with 3 strikeouts and hasn't allowed a run!
“It's a lot of fun for me to just get up there and get on the mound and just have to be into every pitch and compete, it's a lot of fun. Yeah I'm enjoying it. I never knew if it would be able to happen at this level. It's hard to play outfield and do that at the same time and play everyday so, we'll just kind of go along with how my arm feels day to day and see how it goes.”
“They were using him in a mop up role. I decided to use him in a little more important role because we were hurting a little bit there. For the most part he's a good two way guy.”
