(WDAY Sports) - As far as summer traditions go in the area, it's hard to beat the Lions All-Star Basketball Classic.

The four team event tips off tomorrow night in Bismarck with the class A and B girls facing off, followed by the boys.

The class A boys will take a 12 game winning streak into tomorrow night's game, but for the next two days, it's a chance to play against former rivals.

“We were opponents off the court and it's fun to talk about the games we played against each other for the past few years, and on the court it's really good competition. It's not just any ordinary game; you're playing with the other best players in the state.”

“The first practice you could tell that we were all a little tense. We were a little intimidated by each other, but after about an hour we all loosened up, we're all getting to know each other. Things are starting to flow now.”

The traveling road show comes to Fargo Wednesday night, 6 and 8 games at the Civic Center.
