Man dies after motorcycle wreck near Pembina, ND

PEMBINA, N.D. (AP) — A Drayton man has died following a motorcycle crash west of Pembina. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 55-year-old Thomas Landowski failed to negotiate a curve on County Road 55 just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday and the motorcycle went off the road.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 55-year-old Thomas Landowski failed to negotiate a curve on County Road 55 just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday and the motorcycle went off the road. The motorcycle struck a culvert, and Landowski and a passenger were thrown. The patrol says neither was wearing helmets.

Landowski was taken to a Cavalier hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The patrol says the passenger, 24-year-old Jessi Saylor of Grand Forks, was hospitalized in stable condition.
