West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Stormy weather took its toll on the Red River Valley Fair.

Vendors showed up early this morning to find their merchandise strewn about and tents nearly lifting off the ground. Andy Johnson arrived at 4 am and says he has 3 to 4 thousand dollars worth of damage.

He's pleading with the community to come to the fair and support the vendors trying to bounce back.

“This is people's livelihood and some of these vendors probably lost 100-thosuand dollars, everything that they own is gone.”

Johnson says it appeared one or two vendors may have lost everything. The fair opened at three this afternoon to give vendors time to clean up.
