Jackson regains MVP form

(WDAY Sports) - The RedHawks' Nic Jackson was the MVP of the Northern League last season, but for about the first month and a half of this season, he was playing like anything but an MVP.

Hitting below .300 with few runs driven in, but over the last two weeks, Jackson has absolutely crushed. Regaining his MVP form, the Hawks' outfielder has hit .495 with three homeruns and thirteen RBI's over the past 14 days and he has at least one hit in 19 of his last 20 games.

While he may be red hot now, he said it was a struggle to move past his slow start. Jackson and his Hawks will start the second half of the season at home Friday night.
