A blast from the past in Fort Ransom
Fort Ransom, ND (WDAY TV) - It's a blast from the past in Fort Ransom 27-years running! The original Sunne (SOON-EE) Farm was the scene for Sodbusters Days 50th show.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
People see corn shelling, potato picking and plowing with horses and mules. There are wood-working demonstrations, homemade ice cream and lefsa.
It's the lifestyle farmers were accustomed to in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Around 180 volunteers put on the show.
“There are a lot of people within a 100 mile radius, but we do have a few exceptions that come to help put this show on. It's a totally volunteer show."
The fall show is September 11th and 12th.
