Cleanup continues after ND train derailment
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — BNSF Railway is cleaning up after a coal train derailment east of Bismarck.
Thirty-one-cars went off the track Saturday afternoon, and 29 of them tipped on their sides. No one was hurt. The wreck sparked a small grass fire.
Railroad spokeswoman Amy McBeth says the cause of the derailment wasn't immediately known.
The tracks were closed, with other trains being rerouted or delayed.
